“Why You Must Burn Off That Belly Fat &
Burn Those Love Handles - Fast!”

The love handles are the wobbly bits of fat that are on your the sides of your torso- and we all know why they’re called love handles ;-). Your love handles and belly fat are often genetically consistent in that if your parents were heavier around the middle, odds are you maybe too.

But, that’s not an excuse for not burning them off if you want to…

Scientists have found a genetic link which almost predetermines the location where fat is stored in the body. This could be your bum, hips or thighs, fat deposits seems to ‘collect’ in certain areas in different people. Health wise, you’re much better off if your fat collects in these areas, than it is to have fat around your belly and stomach.

You shouldn’t blame your wobbly belly on your parents however, you can reverse the trend.

The Risks of Excessive Belly & Love Handle Fat

Losing and burning off fat from around your middle/torso, could help you live a longer healthier life. Most guys who want to burn belly fat usually have one objective - a lean, mean, rock-solid six pack. For women, a toned flat stomach is the goal. With proper guidance both are 100% achievable.

Having excess fat around your middle increase your risk of developing heart disease as you age, and also raises the risk of diabetes - both major incentives to get started on that fat burning work out program. While the extra fat won’t cause the conditions on their own, they serve to enhance the problem, especially if you are already prone, for example if there is a history of heart disease in your family.

There’s a difference between men and women, men seems to have a natural tendency to gain weight around their middle than women, especially in later life. Whereas women tend too have larger hips/thighs, thus it’s doubly important for men to keep on top of their diet and exercise.

Can It Get Any Worse?

There are other problems, research has shown that people who have extra fat around their tummy/love handles are at higher risk of developing insulin resistance. Insulin causes the body to take up glucose from the blood stream and store its glycogen in the liver and muscles, and stops the use of fat as an energy source. It’s sends a chemical signal to tell your body to burn readily available sugar stores.

In a healthy person, the sugars from the food which enters your blood stream is burned as fuel. But when they are not used as fuel they are stored as fat in the body.

If you have insulin resistance your body has raised blood sugar levels, as your body’s tissues gradually become less sensitive to ‘normal’ insulin levels in your body. Thus your pancreas secrets/releases even more insulin to try and resolve the situation.

This causes a big problem:

Type 2 Diabetes, which is the quickest growing problem for overweight people in America. As the pancreas cannot keep up the the insulin demands placed on it by the body

Risk Factors & Causes

Scientists and researchers now believe that almost 25% of Americans may now be insulin resistant, that’s 1 in 4 of the population of the US - many don’t even know it.

Excess fat and poor diet and the big culprits. If you eat too many foods full of sugar, of high in simple carbohydrates, you may be at risk - think twice when scoffing that next doughnut!

Bad Foods

Cakes, sodas, processed/readily meal foods, pizza, chips, burgers and other ‘fast foods’.

You also need to be careful if you don’t exercise, drink to much, are stressed, have high blood pressure, or have a family history of diabetes.

The Solution
